Course description and aims

In this lecture, we deal with tennis which is popular as lifelong sports, and make mental, physical, skill and communication on tennis a common subject. Taking the basic skills (volley, grand stroke, service, smash, lob) and practicing it in the game, not only improving skills, but also from making partnerships, fair play and manners, making good human relationships The final aim is to do what you can do.

Student learning outcomes

Studetns will able to :
1) acquire knowledge and practice necessary for physical and mental health, and care his/her health by themselves.
2) acquire basic skills and exhibit them during game as to enjoy the sports event.
3) have an understanding the usefullness of the sports event to use the sports event for life-long sports.

Class flow

Students pick up one or two sports event in the beginning of the course. The number of the class is limited.
Every class includes sports activity and sports wears and appropriate pair of shoes are needed.
Attendance is taken in every class.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be assessed by the commitment score (40%), the skill score (20%), the understanding (comprehension) score of rules and safety instruction (20%), and the practice score (20%).
