Course description and aims

This course is to participate in Global Leadership Training program organized by Georgia Institute of Technology. Students will join activities related to leadership workshop, case study, leadership-related class observation, site and innovation contests visits, and self evaluation.
The goal of this course is to develop skills indicated in objectives below by participating in leadership training program.

Student learning outcomes

1) To be able to build leadership skills through self realization/evaluation related to strength, values and appropriate skills.
2) To be able to develop vision for career development.
3) To be able to coordinate and manage team/group within the multicultural/multidisciplinary environment.
4) To be able to solve issues under multicultural environment.

Class flow

After participating in orientations and pre-study session at Tokyo Tech, students will join the Global Leadership Training Program at Georgia Institute of Technology. After the Program at Georgia Tech, students will have presentation at Tokyo Tech.

Students who wish to enroll/participate in this course should have English proficiency (TOEIC score 750 or above, TOEFL-iBT score 80 or above), so that he/she will be able understand the lectures and actively participate in discussions.

Priority will be given to students who have enrolled in Global Engineers and Scientists Course Advanced.
