Course description and aims

Open Soccer: This class aims to enrich your health and physical fitness through enjoying soccer games. As the title of this class indicates, this class is opened for every one. Undergraduate students, graduate students, foreign students or visiting researchers who are staying at Tokyo Tech for several months can join us. If you are students of Tokyo Tech, you can register and get the course credit of this class. If you do not need the course credit and just want to enjoy playing soccer, you can come and play anytime you want.

Student learning outcomes

Students will learn basic skills such that they are able to accurately demonstrate basic skills in games, and enjoy those sports.
The aim of this course is for students to experience one of the life-long sports and understand "body knowledge" that can be leveraged for maintaining and improving health, and contribute to vitalization of spaces.

Class flow

In the first class, students will choose a sport (the number of participants is limited). The course offers the group ball sport, individual ball sport, and other sports, from which students must choose.
Attendance will be taken in each class.
