Course description and aims

Badminton
To enjoy badminton matches, the class provides basic skills of badminton, procedure of badminton matches, tactics.

Student learning outcomes

Goals of this course are:
(1) understanding the significance and importance of sport activities,
(2) developing your exercise habits,
(3) understanding cultural background of sports
(4) learning sports manners and rules

Class flow

Students pick up one or two sports event in the beginning of the course. The number of the class is limited.
Every class includes sports activity and sports wears and appropriate pair of shoes are needed.
Attendance is taken in every class.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be assessed by the commitment sore (40%), the skill score (20%), the understanding (comprehension) score of rules and safety instruction (20%), and the practice score (20%).
