Course description and aims

Title of the Class: Open Soccer
This class aims to enrich your health and physical fitness through enjoying soccer games. It is open to everyone. Undergraduate students and graduate students who do not need the course credit are also allowed to join the class. Students of Tokyo Tech can apply for the course credit of this class. Anyone who do not need the course credit and just want to enjoy playing soccer can come and play anytime. Because this class is open to everyone and the number of players (attendees) changes every week, the number of teams and the size of the pitch would be changed depending on the number of players.
It does not matter whether you are an experienced or inexperienced player.
Football shoes, sox/stockings, and shin guards are required.
We have another same class from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Wednesdays. You can attend the both classes.

Student learning outcomes

Students will learn basic skills such that they are able to accurately demonstrate basic skills in games, and enjoy those sports.
The aim of this course is for students to experience one of the life-long sports and understand "body knowledge" that can be leveraged for maintaining and improving health, and contribute to vitalization of spaces.
