Course description and aims

This course aims to further develop the content of the Wellness Exercise, establish exercises habits, and develop life-long sport habits, with the goal of promoting mind and body health, physical strength, improving self-management skills and group management, running a practical focused on sports activities.

Student learning outcomes

Students will learn basic skills such that they are able to accurately demonstrate basic skills in games, and enjoy those sports.
The aim of this course is for students to experience one of the life-long sports and understand "body knowledge" that can be leveraged for maintaining and improving health, and contribute to vitalization of spaces.

Class flow

In the first class, students will choose a sport (the number of participants is limited). The course offers the group ball sport, individual ball sport, and other sports, from which students must choose.
Attendance will be taken in each class.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be evaluated on their commitment (40%), skills (20%), understanding (comprehension) of rules and safety instructions (20%), and practice (20%).
