Course description and aims

Intelligence is not only superficial knowledge but also wisdom and understanding the principal. Also it is the ability to express our opinion clearly to people in our society. How do we get intelligence? I am a professional editor and I demonstrate the critical editing and thinking skills to achieve wisdom.
In the class, students learn what wisdom is or what wisdom should be.

Class flow

There are two very typical classic texts named "What is Enlightenment? "by Immanuel Kant  and "The Book of Tea" by Ten shin Okakura. Also these are very great philosophy in our history. First we read them in Japanese version. Second we present our opinion by ourselves in comparison with different views.
