Course description and aims

This course is done in Japanese so Japanese ability of daily conversation level is essential. This course is designed to the doctorate course student to provide the basic way of thinking and the viewpoints to think about his/her career, Both a student aiming at the industrial world and at the academia world need preparations respectively but the chance to touch the reality of the industrial world is little in the university. So this course is effective to learn about the reality of the industries as well as academic. In this course, much about the technology management and human resource management related issues in the industries are discussed but this course does not support job finding activities. Through this course, the relationship between the quality, the ability and the interest of the individual and future career will be learned.

・To be able to understand the viewpoint and the thought process when considering own future career
・To be able to form an image of the future career.
・To Understand about the the quality, the capability and the way of thinking for an engineer and a researcher.
・To Understand about the reality of the human resources management, technology management and the various positions for the technical talents in the industrial world.

Class flow

・The class is designed to have a maximum of 50 students.
・The course is excuted by using many Power Point slides with many figures, tables and pictures.
・Home work is give each lecture.
・Feedback card is delivered every class and the comments on the feedeback cards are used for the evaluation.
