Course description and aims

Study the practical and methodological aspect of teaching method of mathematics using ICT equipments.
By examining trends in practical research in mathematics, students will acquire advanced skills for their class.

Class will be given as an intensive course.

Class 1 Collaborative learning in mathematics instruction Students are required to design their own class using collaborative learning methods.
Class 2 Communication and instruction in mathematics learning Students are required to design a class that emphasizes communication.
Class 3 Survey of trends in practical research in mathematics Students are required to prepare a presentation of the surveyed case studies.
Class 4 Mutual learning of practical research in mathematics Students are required to improve their class with reference to practical cases.
Class 5 Design of simulated class: Concept Students are required to complete the concept of simulated lessons.
Class 6 Design of simulated class: Making teaching plan Students are required to complete their own teaching plan for simulated class.
Class 7 Practice of simulated class part 1 Students are required to reflect their teaching practice.
Class 8 Practice of simulated class part 2 Students are required to reflect their teaching practice.
