This is a follow up class of “Introduction to the Teaching Profession (A & B)”. On the basis of the history and the philosophy of education, we review what education is and what schools is.
In addition, we examine the role of education in Japan in order to help making global leaders of teaching profession,
To master the basic ideas and knowledge of pedagogy.
To be able to have a unique view of teacher education and the educaional problems in the 21st century.

Only those students who plan to obtain the teacher's license and wish to become teachers can attend the course.
Students are required to attend the guidance meeting of the teacher education program held on first week of the every first quarter.
