Course description and aims

This course aims to acquire academic Japanese competence. Especially, the students are requested to present the virtue of the book (book review) to the audience using fundamental communication skills.

Student learning outcomes

The following competence can be acquired after this class;1) the confidence of having read through the whole book written by the native speaker of Japanese2) selective competence of choosing importance from a large amount of the data for the audience.

Class flow

Introduction of the book which each student has chosen and presented the virtue of the book.
Classes in the first quarter of FY2021 will be conducted by remote learning (mainly using zoom).
