This course aims to learn the basic knowledge of reading strategies and to acquire effective reading skills through focused reading works.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) read and comprehend more complicated topics in Japanese, by using dictionaries.
2)write an essay.

Topics change in every lesson. Students will be supported to acquire self-direct learning skills using portfolio. Every lesson contains a vocabulary quiz. Students must attend every class. A final test is the most essential.
