This course aims to acquire the basic knowledge of Japanese culture, to discuss what is culture, and to summarize them as a final report.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:1) enjoy and appreciate Japanese culture, 2) explain fundamental aspects of Japanese culture, 3) write some essays about Japanese culture as a final report.

Topics change in every lesson. Every lesson contains examples and questions for group discussions. Students must attend every class. A final report is the most essential.
|Course schedule||Required learning|
|Class 1||Students will participate in one of the Japanese classes (400 numbering subjects) which fits the students' language ability and learn the viewpoints of their own in terms of Japanese culture through class activities.||A higher level of language skills and the profound knowledge of Japanese culture.|
Assessment will be conducted based on student's attendance, discussions, a final report or a presentation.
