This course aims to acquire the basic knowledge of the Japanese pronunciation and the ability to present the sentence that contains the technical terms in sounding pronunciation.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) understand the basic knowledge of Japanese pronunciation;
2) write the pitch line of accent marks on the technical sentence or terms using the pronunciation dictionary and OJAD (Online Japanese Accent Dictionary);
3) present the sentence using the pitch line at the sounding pronunciation;
4) perform their research at the pronunciation easy to understand.

Every lesson contains lecture and practice for Japanese pronunciation. The first half of the course deals with basic knowledge of Japanese pronunciation, the second half address the subject in line with their specialty. To participate in the lecture, prepare the material relating to your specialty.

Assessment will be conducted based on student's attendance(20%), home work(30%) , small test(10%), presentation(20%), a final report(20%).
No prerequisite. Only international students who have a high intermediate level of Japanese skills.
