Course description and aims

This course is for students who have already completed elementary Japanese.
We aim to improve listening/speaking skills of lower intermediate Japanese through familiar topics.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
 1. Improve accuracy in listening
 2. Develop appropriate expressions of spoken Japanese used in real life
3. Learn how to provide an understandable explanation
The most important thing is that after seven weeks, each of you would have achieved your own goal and feel your listening/speaking skills have improved.

Class flow

We will practice accurate listening, natural conversation, and clear explanations of familiar subjects following the textbook. Quizzes and homework will be assigned.
