Course description and aims

The objective of this course is to enable students to read, investigate, summarize and make a presentation. In order to improve reading skills, students will learn various reading styles such as intensive reading speed reading extensive reading. Students will also engage in exchanging opinions, introducing books read individually.

Students will be able to:
(1) Read books and understand the real intention of the author.
(2) Choose books which are necessary for (or interests) himself/herself and introduce or discuss about it.

Class will do exercises to understand the real intention of the author, and mainly focus on activities such as having a discussion of the content.
