Course description and aims

This course will train basic Japanese language skills through composition and presentation continuing from Introduction to Japanese 1A. Students are required to do research, analysis and make a presentation about Japanese society.

Student learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. Learn written Japanese, become capable of writing longer sentences using quoted data.
2. Capable of communicating one's opinion understandably.

Class flow

In an essay writing class, students will write a report after learning essay writing methods. In the presentation, students will learn the way of preparing presentation slides and an effective way of performance.
