The aims of this course is to learn the basic knowledge of reading strategies and to acquire effective reading skills thorough focused reading works.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) read and comprehend more complicated topics in Japanese, by using dictionaries.
2)write an essay.

Topics change every lesson. Students will be supported to acquire self-direct learning skills using portfolio. Every lesson contains a vocabulary quiz. Attendance is taken in every class. A final test is the most essential.
