Course description and aims

The Intermediate Chinese is a course for those who have learnt Chinese for one year . What we hope is to improve their ability to speak , to listen and to read Chinese .

Student learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to reach the third grade of the Test of Chinese Proficiency(CHUKEN),or the fourth grade~fifth grade of the Chinese Proficiency Test(HSK).

Class flow

The instructor will explain the grammatical phenomena of the text to the learners , and let them do translations , so that the instructor can find , whether they understood what they were taught or not . And this helps them to improve their language skills of reading .The drills of the textbook can make the learners better their skills of speaking and listening .
