Course description and aims

This course develops the basic grammer which is learned in Russian: Bsic Course2. It introduces basic russian language and Russian culture.
The course focuses on learning vocabulary and basic grammar. Students will also acquire basic skills for oral communication and writing.

In the end of this course students will be able to :
1) read and pronunce Russian 2) understand some grammer topics 3) communicate in basic phrases

Class flow

At the beginning of the class, the instructor explain words, phrases and grammer. Using the text book, students practice grammer, conversation and writing skills of Russian.

Takashi Kuwano. Syokyuu Rosiago 20ka. Hakusuisha, 2016(2012).
Students are required to obtain the textbook before and bring it on the first class.

Course materials are provided during class.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be assessed on the exam (50%) and their understanding and participation in classes(50%).
