Course description and aims

The Intermediate Chinese course is the one for those who have learnt Chinese for one year. The aim of this course is for such students to improve their ability to speak, listen to, and read Chinese .

Student learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to reach the level three of The Official Examinations Of Chinese .

Class flow

The instructor will explain the grammatical phenomena of the text to students, and have them translate, so that the instructor can check whether or not they understand what they were taught. This will help them to improve their language skills in reading. The drills of the textbook will also help them improve their skills of speaking and listening .
