Students in this course will read texts that lead to an understanding of the rich Anglophone cultures, and taking that as a starting point for debate, will discover the various aspects of Anglophone culture.
The purpose of this course is to train students to read high-quality texts for their research.
At the end of this course students will be able to:

Students read various materials such as newspaper and magazine articles, essays, and short stories. Every week, they are required to read the assigned material and prepare in advance. The instructor helps students to develop their skills for close reading and critical thinking.
