All of the "English Presentation Seminar" courses are designed to provide students with the tools to deliver effective presentations with confidence. As these are practice-oriented courses, students will deliver multiple presentations throughout the term. Furthermore, students will sharpen their listening skills by learning how to ask good questions and become active listeners.
As a 100-level elective course, English Presentation Seminar 3 offers the basic skills for delivering well-structured group presentations.
By the end of this course, students will be able to give group presentations followed by a question and answer session, applying the skills and knowledge discussed in this course.

This class will involve many short presentations by all participants. Criteria for effective presentations will be developed then applied to making peer evaluations. Small groups of 2 or 3 students will be required to design presentations on topics that they propose, with instructor approval.
