Course description and aims

In this class, students acquire the fundamentals of politics and political science by discussing the interesting matters freely.

Student learning outcomes

Students will be able to obtain the basic social scientific framework by critical thinking, discussing, writing resume.

Class flow

The course will consist in a series of seminar sessions with pre‐assigned readings. Students are expected to do all the readings prior to each session, as well as attend and participate in all sessions. The weekly sessions will focus on laying out the main arguments of the assigned readings and critically discussing them. In general, students should focus on key arguments or perspectives provided by each reading. Think about how readings relate to each other and other concepts we
have discussed. What evidence does the author use, and do you find the argument convincing?
