The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of religious studies and their topics, especially, religiosity and spirituality. Therefore, students will read textbooks on modern religions, have discussions and conduct fieldwork.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Obtain basic knowledge about contemporary religions and their function in society.
2) Explain spirituality.
3) Express their views on religion.

Students will read a textbook on religious studies, religious narratives, and biography. And fieldwork is also to be conducted in class.

|Class 1||This class is primarily held in-person and in 5-6 period on Tue. In this course, the religious rites will be treated as a theme for discussion this year. If you are interested in attending this class, please notify us by e-mail no later than April 9, 2022.||No prerequisites.|
