Course description and aims

This course aims at enabling students to acquire an advanced understanding about Feminism and Queer studies. By the end of this course, students will examine social and historical issues of gender and sexuality independently.

We will analyze some stereotypes of the representation of gender and sexuality.

Class flow

Coursework will include writing comments on various topics everytime.

This is a three day intensive course, and dates and time periods are as follows:
December 27th: Class 1(Period 1-2), Class 2(Period 3-4), Class 3(Period 5-6)
December 28th: Class 4(Period 1-2), Class 5(Period 3-4), Class 6(Period 5-6)
December 29th: Class 7(Period 1-2), Class 8(Period 3-4)
Classes will be held in Room 716, 7th floor, West Bldg. 9, Ookayama Campus.
