Course description and aims

The aim of this class is to practice peer review of papers by reading and critiquing papers written by your peers, while at the same time giving them valuable advice on how to improve their papers.

Class flow

Instructors will give instructions on how to begin peer review activities in the first three classes, then students review peer's essay. This class supports peer review activities in undergraduate students' class.

Class 2 Peer-review and tutoring, Peer review activity Understand the fundamental of paragraph writing and use it during peer review activity.
Class 3 Peer review activity; Tutoring. Experience peer-review based on the last class experience. Understand an appropriate way of peer review activity.
Class 4 Citation.Face-to-face peer review activity of undergraduate course. Understand appropriate citation.
Class 5 On-ine peer review system. Supporting peer review activity of undergraduate course. Understand online peer-review activity.
Class 6 On-line peer review Support online peer-review and write a report accordingly.
Class 7 On-line peer review Support online peer-review and write a report accordingly.
Class 8 Summary Understand characteristics of peer-review activity and its support. Write a final essay on it.

Commitment of the class 40 pts, Short essay 10 pts, Commitment of the online reviews 30 pts, Last Essay 20 pts.
