Students will find topics to write about and acquire techniques for writing.
By the end of this course, students will be able to write according to the format for academic papers as a result of practice.

Class 2 | Style is simple. Problem, Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion with Bibliography. | Make a very short story according to the format of academic written style. |

Class 4 | Describe a problem. | Pick up some sentences which address problems and make your own notes in terms of the characteristics of problem sentences. |
Class 5 | Analyze the structure of a paragraph. | Make a story using only topic sentences. |
Class 6 | Do literature research while writing a paper. | Take notes if you find rules which you do not know in APA Manual. |
Class 7 | Presentation | Prepare a presentation on a theme that you have chosen. |
Class 8 | Summary and Assessment | Send comments on the last presentations by email. |

Assessment is based on the contribution to discussions, poster presentations, a final report.

Students must submit homeworks by the time assigned. If you miss the homework deadline, you will not have any credit or scores. We will have four or five paper submission dues. In addition to that, you must submit homework of each lecture day.
Paper presentation must be required in the middle of this course.
