Course description and aims

For creating sustainable future, how can we empower each other to face a lot of social issues such as environmental crisis. I would like to reconnect our daily life and the living world, and cultivate "Active hope" for our own sustainable future instead of expecting others' action passively. We will learn Active Hope from the work that reconnects which has been developed by Joanna Macy and spread widely all over the world.
The aim of this course is to facilitate students' ability to face social issues and act forward.

2)realize the new concept of life sustain society instead of industrial growth society for our sustainable future.
