This course inherits the spirit of the small group work of the Visionary Project, aiming for students to improve real-life, people to people communication skills. People are social beings, so thinking, learning, and creating together with others fundamentally gives us pleasure. In order to live on, interacting with people in various areas, interpersonal communication skills are essential. Students in this course will aim to improve their communication skills through participatory, first-hand style workshops.
The aim is for students to become skilled at communication in an enjoyable way by experiencing self-introduction, interviews, dialogue, and presentations.
Students will acquire the following skills from taking this course.
1) Gain an understanding of the pleasure and difficulty of speaking with someone they met for the first time, and be able to create opportunities for developing conversation on one's own.
2) Learn to speak clearly as a good speaker, and be able to create a relaxed environment as a good listener.
3) Be able to enjoy creative dialogue.

This course will be run in workshop format in the style of first-hand participation, with students at the center, split into small groups to discuss with one another, rather than just a one-directional lecture from the instructor. Students will gain experience with a variety of methods step by step, in order to gradually improve communication skills.
