This course is designed as an introduction to cultural anthropology. Students will be able to give thorough thought to what is culture, why we learn culture, and how different view of the world is from one culture to another culture, through workshops and real experiences. The aim of this course is to encourage students to broaden their minds, as well as to enhance their communication skills and acquire anthropological perspectives on diversity and complexity of human culture and social life. Lectures will be active with doing workshops.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Have an understanding of cultural diversity.
2) Express own opinion as well as understand others' ideas in the world with diverse values.
