Course description and aims

There are many kinds of environmental problems in urban areas where most people live. These environmental problems are closely related to safety, amenity and convenience in our daily lives. This course explains urban environmental problems from various aspects, including city level, community level and building level. This course also provides ways to manage these problems for realizing sustainable cities.

Students will be able to propose ways to solve various urban environmental problems for realizing sustainable cities.

Class flow

Professors give lectures in the classes. At the end of each class, students submit short summaries. These summaries are used for the evaluation.
