This lecture provides an overview of user research methods and workshops, for both quantitatively and qualitatively. This aims to grasp the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
The aims of this lecture are:
1. to grasp the characteristics of quantitative research,
2. to grasp the characteristics of qualitative research,
3. to grasp the overview of workshop for user research.

Class 5 | Exercise 2 (conducting the research) | Conducting the research. |
Class 6 | Exercise 3 (analysis) | Conducting analysis. |
Class 7 | presentation | Presenting the results of the exercises. |
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
