We need comprehension of essential in things and event, design of needed matters, and persuasive communication to the others for innovation, in addition to observation and analysis. This lecture offers methodology and exercise for design and communication to understand those.
In this course, students systematically learn meta-knowledge and framework which does not depend on any specific disciplines by thinking essence of thinking in design and communication. They are also trained to acquire pragmatic skills with exercise on cases in innovation and technology management.
By this course, students will understand:
1) Difference between analysis and design and design methodology
2) Root causes of uncertainty and methodology to manage it
3) What meanings, value, and social justice are.
4) What objective fact and cause of power on individuals and organizations are.
Design, Analogy, Uncertainty, Meanings, Values, Justice, Power, Network, Narattive, Structuring of action
✔ Specialist skills | ✔ Intercultural skills | ✔ Communication skills | ✔ Critical thinking skills | ✔ Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
At the beginning of each class, we have group presentation or explanation of reports in the last class. During the class, concepts, theory, methodology are illustrated. By the end of each class, problem and task for the next class are presented.
