Course description and aims

Based on the contents of the "Educational Media and Design A", students will learn the theory and principles in order to produce an effective e-Learning course.

By this course, students can acquire knowledge and skills for designing effective e-Learning course. Furthermore by comparative evaluation of current online learning courses like MOOCs, students can capture the e-learning from a global perspective.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) learn how to design an effective e-Learning course by developing the contents of the "Educational Media and Design A".
2) explain the features and differences about e-Learning content and courses for new capacity building represented by the 21st century skills.
3) critically evaluate the online learning courses that have been deployed globally.

Class 5 Formative Evaluation of e-Learning Students can design formative evaluation of e-learning courses
Class 6 Questionnaire for Formative Evaluation Students can design effective questionnaire for formative evaluation.
Class 7 MOOCs Students can compare the features of several MOOC courses.
Class 8 Summary of Instructional Design of e-learning course Students will reflect the instructional design of e-learning course.
