Course description and aims
This course provides an opportunity and framework for Global Engineering's doctoral students to propose and implement an actual transdisciplinary project. This will involve tackling a specific social issue together with actual stakeholders, based on the knowledge and skills the students have acquired through their master course level training.
Student learning outcomes
Based on the skills and knowledge acquired from their master-level training at the Global Engineering course,and a global perspective, doctoral students can prepare a proposal and practice a trandisciplinary project to tackle various social issues with multiple stakeholders.

Class flow
This course is based on student-led activities, in a transdisciplinary project, with close consultation with their advisers. Group work is also encouraged. There will be a final presentation to share the results of what has been achieved by them.
Those students who wish to take this course need to prepare a plan for their activities in advance and obtain the approval of their advisers

| Class 1 | Those students who take this course will implement his/her transdisciplinary project based on the approved plan. During the project's progress, students should consult with their advisers or other appropriate faculty members. There will be interim and final presentations for each of the registered quarters respectively. The students are requested to share the outcome and lessons from the implementation of their transdisciplinary project. These presentations will be taken into account in the grade of the course. | TBC |
