Course description and aims

By performing Experiments for Nuclear Fuel Debris and Back‐end Fuel Cycle with master’s program students and teach them, students understand the field more deeply and obtain the skill for teaching.

Student learning outcomes

Students will be able to perform more practical experiments in the field of nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear fuel debris by themselves and teach the beginners in the field.

Keywords

Nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear fuel debris

Competencies that will be developed

Specialist skills Intercultural skills Communication skills Critical thinking skills Practical and/or problem-solving skills

Class flow

Students join the experiments and support the teaching of master’s program students and compile the reports of the progress.

Course schedule/Required learning

  Course schedule Required learning
Class 1 Joining the experiments and support the teaching of master’s program students Teach fundamental analyses and experiments of nuclear fuel cycle and nuclear fuel debris to the beginners.

Out-of-Class Study Time (Preparation and Review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 50 minutes preparing for class and another 50 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
