Course description and aims

This course aims to provide basic knowledge related to fusion energy, especially plasma and beam physics.

To understand the whole picture of energy
To understand the principles of fusion energy
To understand the characteristics of plasmas and its fundamental equations
To understand the characteristics of charged particle beams and its fundamental equations
To Understand the principle of charged particle accelerators

Out-of-Class Study Time (Preparation and Review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
