In this period of once-in-a-century change, the question is how to incorporate and integrate the demands and challenges of the new era for the world. In order to do this, we need to build on the effective knowledge and experience of the past and break new ground. The aim of the project is to overcome the old ways of understanding each other (exchange, fusion), to expand the stage of ideas (cross-border) without being confined to a field or specialty, and to achieve mutual sympathy and social realization (in terms of social implementation, information transmission, mass media).
The guest speaker will be Heather Barnett from Central London School of Art and Design, and together we will consider how to look at things scientifically and artistically, focusing on the theory and practice of Art & Science.
You will learn ways of thinking and various sources of information- in particular “how to activate one’s own thinking and actions to achieve fusion”. Specifically, bringing together knowledge from science, technological fields with art, design, communication theory, history and social sciences, we will provide case studies on the creative process for new discoveries and topics, so you can apply these yourself.
