This course comprehensively presents various issues which have been charged to civil and environmental engineering to solve, for example, global environmental problems as well as local community planning problem. It also includes lectures on the latest initiatives in technology, policy, and planning theory.
Students will understand that civil and environmental engineering is an academic system concerned with the methodology of technologies and policies for constructing a secure, safe, and sustainable human society and the philosophy of planning.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
