Course description and aims

This lecture focuses on nuclear waste management, especially for geological disposal for high level radioactive waste generated in nuclear fuel cycle. The lecture covers geochemical aspects of the disposal. The lecture introduces how rock system can and will retain radioactive waste materials for long time.
