Course description and aims

Medical and welfare devices have an important role in the treatment of disease and enhancement of quality of life in the aging society. This course provides design of the medical and welfare devices considering the characteristics and emotion of human based on some actual examples.

Student learning outcomes

Students will understand the basic design process of medical and welfare devices from the view point of human factors and emotional design.
