This course focuses on landscape design as the various aspects of environmental evaluation.
This course introduces some hypotheses on the evaluation structure of landscape and approaches the meaning of landscape design, possibility and the problems.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1.Explain hypotheses on the evaluation of landscape and derivation processes systematically.
2.Explain possibility and the problems of the hypotheses.
3.Explain the meaning of experimental data.

The class meets once a week on two quarters. Some thought experiments without advance knowledge are done at times to deepen the understanding about the meaning of landscape and its evaluation.
