This course comprehensively presents various issues which have been charged to civil and environmental engineering to solve. It also includes lectures on the latest initiatives in technology, policy, and planning theory.
Students will understand that civil and environmental engineering is an academic system concerned with the methodology of technologies and policies for constructing a secure, safe, and sustainable human society and the philosophy of planning.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- View all the aspects included in civil and environmental engineering as one whole.
- Explain the basic technical, policy, and planning theories of civil and environmental engineering.
