Course description and aims

This course deals with measures for mitigation of earthquake urban disaster. Topics include 1) basis of risk management, 2) classification of disaster measures, 3) current disaster measures and plan, and 4) discussion on problems of disaster measures.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to understand importance of disaster measures and contents of the current measures as well as the flow of disaster management.

At first, disaster measures are lectured. Then problems on the current measures are discussed.
