Course description and aims

This course gives an overview of the system of realize town scape. Planning town scape is not aim but the way of realizing happy city life. So now, shrinking cities, we must think anew what the system of realize town scape should be. You must think with own words and share what others think, and you will able to know the present system and its limitation.
This course has two aims. The first is to get students to know the present system of realize town scape. The other is to get students to understand the limitation of present system. These knowledge will help students construction the new system realize good town scape.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Get the knowledge about the present system of town scape.
2) Understand the limitation of the system and explain the points of reconstruction the system.

Class flow

Topics change every two lessons. The first lesson is give knowledge and students’ research, and the other lesson is group discussion or workshop.
