Students carry out a short-term (1-2 weeks) research project in a laboratory which he/she chooses (excluding the lab for the master degree research). Through interaction with the supervisor and members in the host laboratory, this course aims at learning different ways of thinking in performing research and/or new experimental methods. Experiences acquired in this course are expected to provide fresh ideas on research strategy of his/her own master degree project, and eventually lead to cultivation of researchers with a broad spectrum of viewpoint.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) gain new insights into their master degree research projects
2) broaden the viewpoint as researchers in science and technology
