Course description and aims

To foster the creativity and planning about research and development in human centered sciences and biomedical engineering fields and the scientific communication with the students from the other research fields, the students plan to develop a new industrial product (goods) with a team (3-4 students).

Student learning outcomes

By completing this subject, students acquire the following abilities:
1) Specialized practical skills to translate from basic sciences to practical products (systems) on Bio R&D fields.
2) Communication and presentation skills to progress practical R&D on healthcare and midical R&D fields.

Class flow

Main practice in this subject is collaborating work with team members. In the final class, all teams do the presentation of their plans for development of new product or system.
