Course description and aims

This course aims at learning principles and methods for basic experiments in organic chemistry, which are required for conducting research in the laboratory.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Conduct basic organic experiments required for research in the laboratory.
2) Solve problems when in trouble with basic organic experiments.
3) Describe the aim, results, and discussion of organic experiments clearly.

Keywords

Organic Chemistry,Polymer Chemistry

Competencies that will be developed

Specialist skills Intercultural skills Communication skills Critical thinking skills Practical and/or problem-solving skills

Class flow

Students start experiments after the guidance on the flow of the experiments in the first ~30 min in each class.
