Course description and aims

This course focuses on research topics related to multiple-dimensional data and their use in theory and practice. This course aims to help students to understand the overview of research projects with consortium type involving universities and private companies, how to apply the knowledge on student's research field to research projects, and the method of the education on practical contents. The contents of this course is specified by considering the main research topic of a student.

By the end of this course, students will be able to understand:
1) the research projects with consortium type
2) how to apply the knowledge on student's research field to research projects
3) the method of the education on practical contents.

The course is intensive. It consists of
- the supporting tasks on the specified educational events

Class 1 The educational events, the research events, the supporting tasks, and the report formats is specified by considering the main research topic of a student. Understanding 1) the research projects with consortium type, 2) how to apply the knowledge on student's research field to research projects, 3) the method of the education on practical contents.

Assessment criteria and methods

The evaluation consists of
- the contribution of the supporting tasks on the specified educational events
- the contribution of the supporting tasks on the specified research events
- the reports on the above supporting tasks with the specified formats.
The total score is calculated by judging the level of understanding
- the research projects with consortium type
- the application of the knowledge on the research field of students
- the method of the education on practical contents.
